Here’s a letter that was recently sent to us. We don’t do our job to be praised for it, we do it because we care about helping people at a time when they most need support and guidance, but it’s always nice to get feedback from our families to know we’re doing right by them.
‘On 22nd April, my Wife died quite unexpectedly. Having not thought bout such a thing, I didn’t know what to do.
Eventually, I decided upon specific points I wanted the funeral to address and drew up a short list of four, randomly selected, Funeral Service companies to approach for help and price.
Whilst my prime concern was price, (we didn’t carry any life insurance cover for such an eventuality), I also felt it necessary to be comfortable and confident with the people I entrusted this very personal and responsible work to.
The four prices quoted varied by £1000.00, for the basic service I specified. Had I specified a more elaborate funeral; no doubt the prices would have reflected an even greater price variance.

I found Kim and Kelsey to be both helpful and sympathetic to my situation and state of emotional discomfort brought about at this most traumatic time of my life.
